The General Terms and Conditions of the online shop www.hempethica.com are drawn up in accordance with the slovenian Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1) and the Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-1).

The online shop www.hempethica.com is operated by WidLab d.o.o., Štihova ulica 13, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenija.

The General Terms and Conditions of Business determine the operation of the online store, the rights and obligations of the user and the store, and regulate the business relationship between the online store www.hempethica.com and the Buyer.

The Buyer is bound by the General Terms and Conditions, which are valid at the time of purchase (placing an online order).

Accessibility of information

WidLab d.o.o. undertakes to always provide the buyer with the following information:

  • the identity of the company (company name and registered office, registration and tax number),
  • contact details to enable the user to communicate quickly and efficiently,
  • the essential characteristics of the goods or services (including after-sales services and guarantees),
  • the accessibility of the products (each product offered on the website should be accessible within a reasonable period of time),
  • the terms of delivery of the product (method, place and time of delivery),
  • all prices must be clearly and unambiguously set out and it must be shown whether they already include taxes and transport costs,
  • the method of payment and delivery,
  • the time validity of the offer,
  • the period within which the contract may be withdrawn from and the conditions for withdrawal,
  • an explanation of the complaints procedure, including full details of the contact person or customer service.

Offer of items

Due to the nature of doing business online, the offers and prices in the online shop www.hempethica.com are updated and change frequently and quickly.

Prices and offers of items are limited in time and WidLab d.o.o. reserves the right to extend, change the price or withdraw the offer as time expires.

Order from

The contract of sale between the online shop www.hempethica.com and the Buyer is concluded at the moment when the online shop sends the first e-mail to the Buyer about the status of his/her order. From that moment on, all prices and other terms and conditions are fixed and apply to both the online shop and the Buyer. The Buyer shall be deemed to be the person with the details as stated at the time of placing the order.

The Purchase Agreement (i.e. the first e-mail notification of the status of the order) is stored electronically on the server of the online shop.

Delivery date

All orders placed during the working day before 1 pm will be shipped the same day in case of payment on delivery or PayPal payment. Orders with payment by proforma invoice or direct bank transaction are sent as soon as we receive payment. Orders placed during weekends and holidays will be shipped the next business day.

Payment methods

The online shop www.hempethica.com allows the following payment methods:

  • by transfer to a bank account upon receipt of the pro forma invoice,
  • cash on collection via GLS delivery service,
  • by PayPal to the company's account,
  • by credit card.

Delivery costs

Postage is € 3.9 for all orders, except for purchases over € 50 the postage is free.

If the ordered package is picked up at the Petrol service station, Petrol (neither the online store www.hempethica.com nor the GLS delivery service) will charge you for the service of delivering the package to the customer according to the price list described at their website. The amount applies to each individual package served.


The invoice will be sent to the email address provided by the customer after the package has been collected.

The invoice will break down the price and all costs related to the purchase. It is the customer's responsibility to verify the accuracy of the information before placing an order.


All prices include VAT. Prices are valid at the time of order. Prices are valid in the case of payment by the payment methods indicated above, under the conditions indicated above.

Despite our best efforts to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information, it is possible that a price may be incorrect. In this case, or in the event that the price of the item changes during the processing of the order, www.hempethica.com will allow the Buyer to withdraw from the purchase.

Discounts, promotional codes and coupons, etc. are generally not cumulative. Codes and coupons cannot be exchanged for cash.

Discount code

The discount code offers various benefits when you buy online at www.hempethica.com and is time-limited and must be used within a limited period of time or it is invalid. You can find an active discount code on the front page of the advertisement, on the individual department page, in our e-newsletter or in other media.

In the event that a customer redeems a discount code but later cancels the order with the redeemed code of his/her own free will, he/she will no longer be entitled to the new discount code.

The discount code is a one-time code, which means that it can only be used once. It is not possible to combine different forms of benefits (discount code, promotional code and bonus) within the same order.

Using a discount code

Only one discount code can be redeemed per purchase.

  • Select the product you wish to purchase and place it in your basket.
  • When you complete your purchase at the checkout, enter the discount code in the DISCOUNT CODE box and click the CONFIRM button.
  • Once you have entered the discount code, the value of the discount code will be automatically deducted from the price of your order. You will be left with a balance to pay.

Rules for prize draws


The prize draw is organised by WidLab Ltd., Štihova ulica 13, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. A prize draw participant is a person who participates in the prize draws. The prize winners are determined randomly by the computer selection function or by the Organiser's jury.

Eligibility to enter the prize draw

Participants in the prize draw are natural persons who are citizens of the Republic of Slovenia. Persons employed by the prize draw organiser and their immediate family members, as well as persons employed by other legal entities connected with the prize draw, are not eligible to participate in the prize draw. Legal persons cannot be a participant in the prize draw. Persons who do not accept the rules of the prize draw are not eligible to enter the prize draw. By entering the prize draw, the entrant is deemed to have accepted the rules of the prize draw.

Rules for participation in the prize draw

Participation in the prize draw does not require the purchase of services or products from the prize draw organiser.

Electronic prize draw

The prize draw is open to all prize draw entrants. One participant may enter the prize draw only once. The result of the prize draw is final. No appeal is possible. The winner will be notified by email or other means of communication of the receipt and method of collection of the prize.

Obligations of the prize draw winner

The prize cannot be paid in cash and cannot be exchanged for another item.

The winner is obliged to provide the prize draw organiser in writing with his/her personal details - name, surname, address, e-mail address and telephone number, all within two days of being notified that he/she has won the prize.

Payment of all taxes on prizes (including VAT) is the responsibility of the Promoter. The Organiser is not responsible for any taxes that may arise in connection with any other prizes. If the Prize Winner fails to comply with all obligations, the Prize Winner shall be deemed not to accept the Prize and the Organiser shall be released from all obligations under this Prize Draw to the Prize Winner and shall be entitled to dispose of the Prize for any other purpose whatsoever. Prizes are non-transferable.

If, for any reason, the prize draw organiser does not receive all the necessary information and a declaration that the winner wishes to receive the prize within three working days of the date on which the winner is notified that he/she has been entered into the prize draw, the winner shall be deemed not to accept the prize, and the prize draw organiser shall be released from any and all obligations under the prize draw and shall be entitled to dispose of the prize for any other purpose whatsoever in respect of the prize draw.

Protection of personal data

The prize draw organiser shall protect all personal data obtained from entrants in connection with the prize draw in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data. The Organiser may use the personal data obtained from the participants only for the purposes for which it was obtained. The participant agrees that the Organiser may send him/her notifications regarding the Organiser's offer. The participant or his/her guardian or legal representative may withdraw his/her consent to the use of the personal data obtained in the prize draw for direct marketing purposes at any time. The prize draw organiser reserves the right to organise the prize draw as a public event. By participating in the prize draw, the participant gives his/her name and address permission to be used in the prize draw organiser's audio, photo and video material. The participant authorises the prize draw organiser to publish his/her personal data in the mass media and on the Internet in order to inform him/her about the results of the draw or to claim the prize.

Publication of the rules of the prize draw

By submitting their details, entrants agree that they are aware of the rules and undertake to comply with the rules of the prize draw. In the event of any dispute or ambiguity, these rules shall prevail over any other publication, whether in print, electronic or any other form.

Purchase procedure

  1. Select a product: go to www.hempethica.com and select a product. Click on the ADD TO CART button and the selected product will be moved to your cart. You can continue with your purchase, add another product or several other products using the same selection process, however, you can complete your purchase and proceed to the next step in your shopping cart by clicking on the button VIEW CART. If you click the CHECOUT button you can go directly to checkout to complete your order.
  2. Removing a product from the shopping basket: on the www.hempethica.com website, there is a shopping basket icon in the top right-hand corner, where (by clicking on the icon) the user is shown the products that he/she has added to his/her shopping basket while browsing the online shop. After clicking on the VIEW CART the user can remove a product from the shopping cart by changing the number of products to zero, and then clicking on the UPDATE CART button. You can continue to next step by clicking on the PROCEED TO CHECKOUT button.
  3. Entering Billing and Shipping information: To complete the order, the user must fill in the fields with asterix.
  • Delivery address: The user must provide the requested contact details marked with a red asterisk (first name, last name, e-mail address, address, city, postcode and telephone number), which we require for the confirmation and completion of the order and the delivery of the product.
  • Payment method: The user can choose between cash on delivery, credit card or Paypal.
  • Agreeing to the terms of business: before making a payment, the user indicates that he agrees to the terms of business.
  • Continuing the order: By clicking on the PLACE ORDER button, the user moves to the next step of the order.
  1. Order confirmation: If the order has been successfully placed, the massage will display “Thank you. Your order has been accepted” along with the delivery information.

Purchase notification process

  1. Order confirmation

After placing an order, the buyer receives an email notification that the order has been accepted. The online shop www.hempethica.com will review the order, check the availability of the items ordered and confirm or reject the order with a reason. www.hempethica.com may call the Buyer's contact telephone number to verify the information or to ensure the accuracy of the delivery. The products displayed on www.hempethica.com are generally in stock. In the event that a product is out of stock, www.hempethica.com will inform the customer of this and advise the customer of the product's delivery date. If the delivery time is very long and the Buyer does not wish to wait, the Buyer may notify www.hempethica.com, which will remove the item from the order and refund any monies already paid to the Buyer and, at the Buyer's option, either deliver the remaining items in the order or cancel the entire order. www.hempethica.com accepts no liability for any damages resulting from longer delivery times or from the non-delivery of items that are out of stock. www.hempethica.com will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by the non-delivery of items that www.hempethica.com does not have in stock.

  1. The order has been dispatched

www.hempethica.com prepares and dispatches the item within the agreed time limit and notifies the customer by e-mail.

In the event that the Buyer decides to cancel the order in due time, the Buyer must immediately notify the Seller by filling the form and send it by e-mail to support@hempethica.com. If the order has already been dispatched, the Buyer shall refuse delivery to the delivery service.

Purchase for legal persons

The purchase procedure for legal persons is exactly the same as for natural persons, except that the company name must be entered at the end of the purchase.

Consumer's right of withdrawal

In the case of distance contracts, the consumer has the right to notify the company in no uncertain terms within 14 days, by email to support@hempethica.com or by any other communication channel, that he or she withdraws from the contract, without being required to give a reason for his or her decision.

The period shall begin one day after the date of receipt of the goods.

In addition to the returned product in its original packaging, the customer who withdraws from the contract must enclose an invoice and a completed complain form.

The consumer must return the goods to the company no later than 14 days after the cancellation notice. The consumer must return the goods to Widlab Ltd., Štihova ulica 13, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. The only cost to be borne by the consumer in connection with the withdrawal from the order is the direct cost of returning the goods.

Returned items with a ransom note will not be accepted. Returned parcels sent with a ransom note will be rejected.

The consumer must return the item to the seller undamaged, unused and unchanged in quantity, unless the item is destroyed, damaged, lost or reduced in quantity through no fault of the consumer. The consumer may not use the goods without hindrance until the withdrawal from the contract. The consumer may inspect and test the goods to the extent strictly necessary to establish the factual situation. The consumer shall be liable for any diminution in the value of the goods if the diminution is the result of handling which is not strictly necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

The consumer shall not have the right to withdraw from the contract in the case of a contract relating to an item which has been manufactured in accordance with the consumer's precise instructions, which has been adapted to the consumer's personal needs, which is not suitable for return by reason of its nature, which is perishable or which has reached the end of its useful life.

The undertaking shall return the payments received to the consumer by the same means of payment as used by the consumer, unless the consumer has expressly requested the use of another means of payment and unless the consumer bears no costs as a result.

In the case of withdrawal from a contract where a bonus, discount code or promotional code has been used, these funds shall be taken into account as a discount and shall not be returned to the consumer. Only the amount paid will be refunded to the user.

Material error

A material error is when:

  • the item does not have the characteristics necessary for its normal use;
  • the article does not have the characteristics necessary for the particular use for which the buyer is purchasing it, which was known or ought to have been known to the seller;
  • the goods do not possess the characteristics and qualities which were expressly or tacitly agreed or prescribed;
  • the seller has handed over an article which does not correspond to a sample or model, unless the sample or model was shown for information only.

The Buyer must inform the online shop www.hempethica.com of any material defect, together with a precise description of the defect, within the statutory time limit and at the same time allow inspection of the item.

Liability for material defects

The seller shall be liable for material defects in the goods at the time when the risk passed to the buyer, whether or not the seller was aware of this. The seller shall also be liable for those material defects which appear after the risk has passed to the buyer if they are the result of a cause which existed before that time. Insignificant material defects shall be disregarded.


Our contractual partner for the delivery of parcels in Slovenia is GLS parcel service, but WidLab d.o.o. reserves the right to choose another delivery service if this will enable us to fulfil the order more efficiently.


The online shop www.hempethica.com uses appropriate technological and organisational means to protect the transmission and storage of personal data, orders and payments. The Provider accepts no responsibility and cannot be held liable for any damage to computer/hardware equipment or other property and any viruses that may affect the User's equipment as a result of visiting the website, downloading texts, images, data.

Reviews, opinions and recommendations

Customer reviews, ratings and recommendations are part of the functionality of the online shop and are intended for the community of all users.

www.hempethica.com allows any user of the online shop to write a review, and www.hempethica.com reviews them before final publication. www.hempethica.com will not publish reviews or contributions that are in any way offensive, inappropriate, or that in the judgment of www.hempethica.com do not provide a benefit to other users and visitors.

By submitting an opinion or comment, the user expressly agrees to the terms and conditions of use of his/her opinion or comment and authorizes www.hempethica.com to publish part or all of it in any electronic or other media. www.hempethica.com shall have the right to use the content of the opinion or comment indefinitely and for any purpose that is in www.hempethica.com's commercial interest, including publication in advertisements or other marketing communications. The author of the opinion also declares and warrants that he/she is the owner of the material and moral copyrights of the opinions and comments written and that he/she assigns these rights to WidLab Ltd. on a non-exclusive and perpetual basis.

Limitation of liability

www.hempethica.com makes every effort to ensure that the information published on the website is up-to-date and correct. However, the characteristics of the items, the delivery date or the price may change so quickly that www.hempethica.com sometimes fails to correct the information on the website. In such a case, the online shop will inform the customer of the changes and give him the opportunity to withdraw from the contract or to exchange the item ordered.

www.hempethica.com has the possibility to withdraw from the contract only if a manifest error is found (Art. 46 CC). A manifest error is defined as a defect in the essential characteristics of the goods and any errors which, according to the custom of the trade or the intention of the parties, are considered to be decisive and which www.hempethica.com would not have confirmed or concluded the contract if it had known. This includes obvious errors in price.

Exclusion of liability

We reserve the right to disable the Website or to prevent access to the Website due to technical or other problems and maintenance, including disabling or impeding the use of the Online Shop. In the event of technical problems with the website, we reserve the right to cancel orders placed and affected by the technical fault. In the event of cancellation of orders, we will notify you as soon as possible and inform you of the next steps. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that appropriate protective equipment is in place before accessing the website.

Complaints and disputes

WidLab Ltd. complies with the applicable consumer protection legislation and makes every effort to fulfil its duty to provide an effective complaints handling system.

Complaints should be submitted via the e-mail address support@hempethica.com. The online shop will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within five working days, inform the customer how long it will take to process the complaint and keep the customer informed of the progress of the complaint.

www.hempethica.com recognises that a key feature of consumer disputes is the disproportion between the economic value of the claim and the time and costs involved in resolving the dispute, which is also a major barrier to consumers not taking their dispute to court. Therefore, www.hempethica.com makes every effort to resolve potential disputes amicably.

Out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes

In accordance with the legal norms, www.hempethica.com does not recognise any out-of-court consumer dispute resolution provider as competent for the resolution of a consumer dispute that a consumer may bring under the Act on the Out-of-Court Resolution of Consumer Disputes.

Widlab Ltd., as a provider of goods and services offering online commerce in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia and EU in general, publishes on its website an electronic link to the Online Consumer Dispute Resolution Platform (ODRP). The platform is available to consumers here.

The above-mentioned regime is based on the Act on Out-of-Court Settlement of Consumer Disputes, Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes and amending Regulation (EC) No 2016/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC.
