Cannabis and its extracts are increasingly recognized worldwide and are becoming part of general use. The professional field of use of cannabinoids for medical purposes is dominated by the United States, Canada and Israel. Cannabis and its extracts are now found in various forms. It is scientifically one of the most researched plants, which has a very great power for our health. Many beneficial effects have already been proven and clinically confirmed.
The counseling is intended for everyone who would like to get to know cannabis better, its extracts and the possibility of using it for a better quality of life.
Cannabis possibilities for medical purposes
Most research on cannabinoids in the field of palliative use, covering the treatment or pain relief, nausea, insomnia and some other symptoms that adversely affect quality of life. The next well-researched field of cannabinoid use is the field of neurodegenerative diseases, which includes Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. A third well-researched area, however, covers disease states where pathogenesis is associated with excessive signal transduction, which includes epilepsy and neuropathic pain. Very good results of cannabinoid treatment are also in the field of inflammatory diseases, which include multiple sclerosis and the field of rheumatic conditions, which includes fibromyalgia. More and more research is also focused on the treatment of cancer symptoms and as an antitumor drug.
Endocannabinoid system
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is one of many biological systems, or in other words a signaling mechanism, present in all vertebrates. It consists of endocannabinoids (anandamide or AEA and 2-arachidonoylglycerol or 2-AG), receptors (CB1, CB2, and GPR55 is thought to be the third) and enzymes. Receptors, which are an integral part of our cells, sense the amount or concentration of cannabinoids in cells. Our brains also detect changes in the concentration of cannabinoids in our body and consequently respond accordingly. The role of ECS in our bodies is very broad, as all cells on their surface contain receptors that sense the amount of cannabinoids present.
Cannabinoids are a group of compounds that bind to cannabinoid receptors in our cells. Basically, according to their origin, we divide them into three groups. Endocannabinoids are synthesized under certain conditions in our bodies and in all vertebrates, phytocannabinoids are synthesized in certain plants, and synthetic cannabinoids are synthesized artificially in the laboratory.

Safety when using cannabinoids
In classical medicine, we know of drugs that can act on the central nervous system. These medications also have side effects, as well. Among the most common are psychotropic effects that affect our well-being and sobriety. As a result, the use of these drugs prohibits the driving of cars and other means of transport.
Among cannabinoids, there are three that have been shown to have a psychotropic side effect. The best known among them is d9-tetrahydrocannabinol, better known as d9-THC. In addition to d9-THC, d8-THC and cannabinol (CBN) also have a mild psychotropic effect. Other cannabinoids have been shown not to cause a psychotropic effect. d9-THC has also been shown not to cause intoxication in the right combination with cannabidiol (CBD) and other cannabinoids. No other adverse effects of cannabinoid use within normal use have been reported or shown to be absent.
Who is suitable for self-treatment with cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids act on two systems in the body, the nervous system (central and peripheral) and the immune system. When our endocannabinoid system is in balance or in homeostasis, we feel good. However, if the balance is upset, our well-being deteriorates. This phenomenon usually occurs due to perceptions and disturbances from our surroundings. That’s when our endocannabinoid system activates and tries to get us back into balance.
The use of cannabinoids has been banned for a long time due to its long-standing prohibition.

In cooperation with the internationally recognized cannabinoid institute ICanna we can offer our customers Diagnostic Advisory Package. It is an adjunct therapy for chronic diseases and illnesses in cases of concomitant use of drugs. We individually check the suitability of cannabinoid sharing for you. Possible interactions with existing drugs are examined and supportive therapy is set up, including the suggested dosage and route of administration of cannabinoids. The institute is established in Slovenia as a result of cooperation of partners from Slovenia, Austria and Germany. It is an interdisciplinary organization and gathers researchers and scientists from different countries. It is an adjunct therapy for chronic diseases and illnesses in cases of concomitant use of drugs. We individually check the suitability of cannabinoid sharing for you. For more severe forms of the disease, we suggest Diagnostic counseling, where patients provide the council in writing with information about the diagnosis, including histological results, list medications and their daily doses, and the symptoms that accompany them, despite the introduced therapy. The Council issues a written opinion and recommendations for follow-up.
